“At times as an artist you make plans. ‘I’m going to do this. I want to be in a Broadway show. I want to make this concert dance company by this. You put time frames on yourself. For me it was like, I got rid of all of those beliefs. I was like, ‘I’m here presently. I’m going to enjoy today for what it is.’”
