“My philosophy definitely starts with the person. I want to show the person in their best, most comfortable, most joyful, most effervescent self…I just love beauty, and I love the human face. Because of my acting background, [and] so much of that is about expressing your feelings, I just love creating a space for my subjects to feel comfortable enough to kind of take off that veneer and let themselves shine.”
